Yesterday I watched Game 5 of the World Series on MLBN, wished it were Game 1, and could not bear to watch Game 6. In between I switched to Comcast for an old interview with Chase Utley, who is as dishy as he is good. (That would be superlatives for both.)
The only Phillies news over the holidays was the reported signing of reliever Danys Baez, someone who's been on the Phillies' wish list for a couple of years. I guess the signing means Chan Ho Park, still said to be pursuing a starting position, is gone. Too bad, really; he was good in his role as reliever.
Can spring training come soon enough?
