It's official, though not yet done, and quite different in the details than first presented. But Halladay is pretty much a Phillie and Lee a Mariner. I get the reasons for it all but it's still devastating to give up Cliff Lee, who dazzled during the season and was brilliant in the post-season.
p.s. Hats off to Ken Rosenthal, who on Saturday floated the idea of this trade as a "hunch". Rosenthal proved again that he's just about the best out there.
