Another postcard from Fan Appreciation Day, featuring the Flyin' Hawaiian. He's the kind of guy who would really dig Mrs. October.Yesterday afternoon I got an excited phone call from Mrs. October. She'd just won two free tickets to the first home game of the World Series in Philadelphia, thanks to Modell's Sporting Goods. This afternoon she picked the tickets up. That means she'll keep her 44-year streak going and make it to this year's series. Too cool! This weekend or on Monday I'll be going to Philadelphia to take pictures of her in the latest version of her cape. Please stay tuned.
