Last year I made a ton of prayer flags, which in fact turned out to be too heavy for the rope I made to hold them. At the end of the year I made a single version, using a Hmong embroidery I picked up years ago in Laos and a piece of green fabric left over from having a futon made years ago in Kyoto.
