Tied 1-1 in the bottom of the eighth, the Phillies scratched out a go-ahead run on a Valdez single, Victorino pinch-hit bunt, wild pitch, and a Rollins sacrifice fly. Ryan Madson made it stand up in the ninth and the Phillies beat the Rockies 2-1. Both starting pitchers were outstanding. So was Madson.
